The First Thursday Experieance!

We were amazed and blown away by last night's crowd.  Thank you to all that attended the openings and for your support! We have a Facebook Page up and running, so please "like" us. the button will be at the bottom of this post.

Just a reminder that Kendric Tonn will be preforming a free painting demo at the Fayetteville Underground in the Revolver from 9am-12pm, the 9th. We hope to see you there!

An Update!



Well,    believe it or not we've been very very busy since the 18th of May, After Arriving home on the 28th, I picked up visiting artist Ellen Barkin on the 1st. and then the next day artist, Mr. Kendric Tonn.

We've been running around getting everything ready for this upcoming show, and today we have accomplished the most important part of any show...

 Getting the paintings attached to the walls.



We are so excited for  the Invitational Opening this Wednesday (the 6th from 5pm-9pm,@the Fayetteville Underground) and the Public Opening 
at This First Thursday, (Also from 5pm-9pm @ the 
Fayetteville Underground)

The Contemporary Classicists Show

The Fayetteville Underground, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, is hosting an art exhibit with recent graduates of the Florence Academy of Art. The art exhibition is scheduled for July 7 - July 30, 2011.
Opening Night will be on Fayetteville's First Thursday, July 7th from 5pm to 9pm

Students of The Florence Academy of Art are trained in the classical style with a strong emphasis on realism and figure painting. Six of these graduates will display a collection of recent works in the Contemporary Classicists show.

  • Ellen Barkin Söderholm (Sweden)
  • Amelia Meredith (England)
  • Per-Elof Ricklund (Sweden)
  • Zacheriah Kramer (USA)
Each will share a variety of their artwork inspired by old world masters and influenced by their own personal experiences.

If you enjoy realistic, traditional art forms, you will enjoy the fresh, new work of these young artists.
